if things were different

Have you ever thought this... What if things were different. What if the world wasnt slowly desentegrateing? would there be less cancer? What if there was a cure for cancer? Will there ever be? Someone once brought to my attention that even if they did find a cure for cancer, then they wouldnt tell any one because they are makeing so much money off of it. I never really thought about it that way, but it makes sense.
What if I was home schooled my whole life instead of attending public school? Would I have friends? Would i be smarter than I am now?
What if me and my friends never got out of fights? Would i continue makeing new ones and leave the other ones behinde?
What if I could see God? That is a question that i have been thinking about for a long time. But I finally realized, that every one sees God. When I look at my self in the mirror, I see the work of God. When I look at you, I see the work of God. When I look at the trees, and anything that is on the planet, I see the work of God.
When i see the work of God, it makes me see God for what he is. My God, your God and our God.

Psalm 4:7-8

"In peace I will lie down and sleep for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety." Psalm 4:7-8
I came across this verse a few days ago, and it just stood out to me.
It is basiclly saying that we can rest in peace, because we know that the Lord is keeping us safe, even when we feel threatened. I just found that this verse is very strong, and very encouraging.

NO SCHOOL!!!!!

So yesterday I went home on the bus to my best friend angeles place. The situation was a little iffy with her mom because last time i came over on a school nite we stayed up really late. My mom had asked her mom if I could come over because she was going to be away on a snowmobeil trip and couldnt drive me to jr. symphonic in the moarning. i promised that we would go to bed eairly so i got to go. We fell asleep around 11:30. i absolutley love her bed! it is so comfortable!
She told me that when i was sleeping i woke up around 2:00 and said to her, "Anglel... i have a gun" she told me that i didnt have a gun and to go back to sleep. i replied, "seriously Angele, I have a gun... and a piece of cheese!" It was really funny. i dont remember any of it. lol. my grandma says that i tend to talk in my sleep a lot. i never really believed her until now. its kinda funny.
So Angeles mom came in eairly this moarning for what i thought was to wake us up, but instead she said, "angele theirs no school today!" OMG!! i was sooo excited! i couldnt believe it. our school board is totally stupid and hasnt cancelled a day of school in 2 years! ha ha, its about time i thought. You should have seen me jumping up and down in the bed!! i was sooo excited that i didnt have to go to school.
the funniest part was that the whole reason for me going over their was actually for jr. symphonic and we didnt even end up going!!

my mom

my mom is the greatest. she is a paramedic at a near by hospital. paramedics work shift work so she isnt home sometimes. even tho she isnt home sometimes she still finds time to spend with me and my sister. My mom is a single parent, which means we run off of one income. We still manage to keep the house, as well as a decent boat and a camper. during the summer we go camping a lot. i dont know how she does it, but shes doing a great job at it!:P

air hocky

a few nights ago, my mom decided that she was going to buy my uncles air hocky table off of him. so far we have had a tremendous amount of fun with it! my little nabour ali keeps kicking my butt tho. shes come over 2 x in the past 2 days and we are having a blast!

edmonton

i havent been able to poast anything latley because ive been in edmonton for christmas. i went with my moms friend my mom and my siseter.

my christmas was wonderful. i got a gift certificate to paint my room and a new recording system, which i hade been asking for since i made my last cd which was fairly pleasing to the eyes but unfortinuatley was shocking to the ears.

on the last day i got to swim with claira, kelpie and pablo; the mall sealions. that was something that i will never forget! it was absolutley austonashing! i remember reading in a brouchure that the first time u make eye contact with these animals, you will never forget, and this couldnt be more true! i had the oppertunity to have hand on hand interaction with them! i got to do behaviours which are like makeing them do flips and dance and small thigns like that. then i got towed by pablo! Pablo was the head hauncho! i was probably on a rought estamate 659lbs and extreamly loud. claira and kelpie are a lot smaller, probably weighing in around 200-250lbs each. claira was absolutley sighlent. most people wouldnt reaolize this but sea lions are actually covered in fur. they feel exactley like a wet dog. its really neat. i thought they would feel like rubber, kinda like a dolphin, but not at all. i would have never guessed.
